Deepest Winter and New Beginnings

Happy New Year!

We have been making porcelain lighting professionally since 2003 which is an extremely long time, early supporters and customers have become old friends and we have been extremely grateful for the support we've had over the years.

So with that in mind I have some really rather huge news!

We are going to be doing things differently next year.

Apart from a couple of ongoing collaborations we have decided to take a break from making porcelain lighting.

I will be using the time to explore other work.

The porcelain work has been our bread and butter for over 20 years and it still gives me a flutter of joy when I light a new piece up but this life is short and precious.

There are so many things that I want to explore and so little time.

The way we live our lives has changed in ways I never could have imagined when I started my career 23 years ago and I want to make some changes in the way we work in response to that.

I am making the mental and physical space to resond to this extraordinary life we are living, I’m longing to make work in a more instinctive and direct way and why not?

Making space to create new work is a big and scary thing to do but much needed and I’m in charge surely?

This means, the porcelain work that I have now is all there is!

Check in with my stockists to snap something up while stocks last.

I will also be holding a goodbye sale in early February to clear my studio.

I am not saying I will never come back to this work but for at least a year I will be working on other projects.

We hope you will continue to share our journey as life and the work evolves.

Wishing you fair winds and blue skies until we next cross paths.

Amy
